Over the sea to Scotland

Back across the North Channel from Larne

View Northern Ireland by ferry; March 2013 on tiderace's travel map.

Another satisfying breakfast and a quick goodbye and it was off up the road to Larne nice and early to avoid the rush hour traffic. Naturally, a few photos had to be taken en route, so here's the 'new' Toome Bridge over the River Bann;

And onwards to Larne where they have a rather large crowning glory on a roundabout;

Another good day with sea conditions ideal for adding to my endless ferry photo collection!

Roadworks between Girvan and Turnberry provided the opportunity to nip out in the queue and capture this shower passing in front of Arran and Holy Isle;

After a quick stop in Kilmarnock to drop off gifts etc at Mum's, it was off up the familiar old A9 through Glasgow to arrive home just after dark and time for a good zzzzz before work tomorrow, sigh......
